IP Addressing 101
A simple tutorial on how to change IP subnets.

In this post, we will talk about how to change your subnet in Unifi from the default 192.x.x.x/24 range to anything you like.
First off, let's open up our Unifi interface at 192.168.1.1. Sign in, and you should land on your dashboard.

Once you do this, select the settings as shown below. Update the IP you want to use in the highlighted boxes. You may not have to set DNS if you use automatic settings, however in my network I use custom DNS servers.

Hit save, and you're good to go in the console. Now, simply reboot your devices if they have DHCP in order for them to grab the new lease and IP.
Happy networking!
